About

What is Complete Wellbeing?

We often think of wellbeing as health and happiness, but it is more than that. Wellbeing is really about having meaning in our lives — developing as a person and feeling that our lives are fulfilling and worthwhile. A feeling of wellbeing is a result of having a web of relationships, good health, social interests and spirituality. Family and friends, satisfaction at work, leisure activities and spiritual beliefs all contribute to our wellbeing.

As against the commonly held credence, Team CW believes that individuals are not a sum of parts, but one whole. Our physical, psychological, spiritual aspects are intertwined in an intricate manner, influencing each other at all times. It only follows then that our approach to wellbeing should not be fragmented but integrated.

Image of the Three ChakrasComplete Wellbeing defines wellbeing as not merely an absence of illness, or disease — but, optimal wellbeing from the physiological — or, functional — physical and psychological — including emotional and spiritual — points-of-view, or the Three Chakras© on which the magazine is founded and copyrighted.

Articles published in Complete Wellbeing highlight the inter-dependence of our being. Take for instance, mental stress [psychological] often manifests itself in hyperacidity [physiological] and dark circles around eyes [physical]. Similarly, weight problems [physical] lead to lack of self-esteem [psychological]. In fact, contrary to what most people believe, weight management is more of a psychological problem than physical.
